Published by Logan Publishing Company Limited, the magazines pictorially portray events around Whangarei and the north, including sports, weddings, boat launches, poultry shows, new industries and schools, balls, operatic, dramatic and musical events, visiting dignitaries, and many more.
They provide an interesting snapshot of life in the north in the 1960s and preserve a multitude of interesting details of sporting and social events as well as documenting the changing shape of Whangarei during a time of growth and prosperity.
